Still in Truckee and hit a couple of the local breweries yesterday. First I went to The Good Wolf. New one for me as it opened not long ago in the same space where Tahoe Mountain Brewing used to be. I don’t love hazy IPAs and that’s mostly what they had on tap, but enjoyed the Sour Weisse (solid cherry taste) and the Dirt Candy (used wild turkey/local mushrooms, very smoky; def worth trying once).

After that I went to Truckee Brewing around the corner. They have better beer (for me) and as you can see always have mountain biking videos on. Had their West Coast IPA and Pale Ale. Solid!

I've been on a Blue Moon kick lately, but I've also wanted to get back to the carb cutting diet I was on before the apocalypse. I had shed about 15 pounds, all of which came back with a vengeance during the lock down and move.

Enter... Blue Moon Light Sky.

It's perfect... When all you want is a beer like beverage. But at least it's not Genesee. :Roflmao

Good on ya, but I just don't understand light beer. I mean, why????:gag:

If you want beer, drink beer. If you want water, don't drink beer. :gotnothing:

I wouldn't care for the Double IPA, but EVERYTHING else on that board looks fantastic!
The Truckee/Session/Pale Ales are right where my tastes center.
I'd add a Porter and a Scottish Ale, as it looks like they're missing brews in those areas. The Red would be pretty close, but not quite a Scottish. And their only Stout is too over-flavored for my tastes.
But would not turn any of them down!!!

Don’t forget the once in a lifetime comet sliding by our planet for the next few weeks. Comet “Neowise” clearly visible with naked eye in the NW sky now through August. Super bright easy to see. Best view for now is about 2 hours before sunrise. As it slips past us viewing times will evolve to dusk and evening darkness. If you miss it this time around you’ll have to wait until summer of 9020

I'm sleeping in.

Might want to limit it to a master cylinder. It doesn’t taste like it did when you were (I was) 20.
It really doesn’t matter how bad it tastes. The only way to drink Bud is through a bong. It will be gone too fast to tell what it tastes like. On that note, don’t forget that I drink cases of Bud every year on our houseboat trips, via beer bong, so I am well acclimated. :D

I looked for it last night. About 9. Kind of under the Big Dipper. Not the easiest thing to see, even with binoculars, but cool. Not every day you see something that comes around every 7000 years or so. I may go to the top of Ortega and look for it.
Drank one of these.
