BB height and pedal strikes?

Well.....good thing the Captain's BB on the Tandem is 16.5"......pedal strikes are horrible.

Was just checking out bikes on my short list, and the Pivot 429 Trail is 13.5". But it is crazy-expensive, so Tallboy w/ a 13" is close enough!

1/2" is a big difference, assuming sag and suspension curve are the same. However, I am certain the suspension dynamics are not the same between those two bikes.

I was diggin' Pivots for a bit, until I saw their prices. Funny when Santa Cruz is your budget brand!
