New Bike Day!

Union Pacific, Kaiser Steel, Norton AFB... they made the IE, now all gone (UP sorta' still there but most work moved out).

Of course the air was so foul you could see it and the water table is forever polluted, but hey, different conversation there!

Norton in the distance... I don't think it would have been visible from 1940 to 1990.

As a public school employee, we are constantly encouraging gender transformation - and handing out tampons in boys restrooms. Just like Fox News and @Obsidian said we were doing!

(That's sarcasm)

You work in a high rent school district so might be immune to a lot but I ride/snowboard with (2) guys that teach at a lower income high school (Vista High School in San Diego County). When I was still living in Oceanside, I knew one of the Sheriff's deputy's that was assigned there (full time, never left) and the stories they tell me about what the kids get away with....and what they are allowed to do about it is scary, scary stuff.

Nope. 65% of my student population are low SES. Not too far behind Vista's 76%. I don't work where I live.

That said, my local district is far more likely to push an aggressive social agenda than my work district. And the kids in my low-SES work district are much nicer and less devious than the students in the upscale District where I live.

This new bike day was back in June...
I helped my good friend David get his first FS a GT force elite 29'er.
He is very happy with it, I took him to Floop to pop his cherry in a good way I could say..
He like it and I convinced him to taste the waters at BB and that will be a ride report soon !! I dont think there is a need for his Floop ride report !!

If you mean Big Bear, well, it's a bit chilly up there right now!

New bike day! More accurately, new frame and some miscellaneous parts day. Most parts moved over from the V2 Sentinel to this V3 Sentinel. View attachment 95707
Well that's a cheerful color! And matching shock sticker - we have documentation that matching shock stickers make you faster, smarter, younger and more handsome!

Congrats on the new sled. May it tick all the boxes for you until your next round of N+1 fever!

NBD redux. Maiden voyage in the hallowed grounds of the Cheese. This thing absolutely rips. More trail, less enduro than it's predecessor, yet I had my fastest times down the Sheep Corral full pull and the final Gas Pipe section in over 2 years. I can confidently say the Gas Pipe run was the most fun one I've ever had, which is saying something. An auspicious beginning for sure.
