Not really. I just asked the right question and was willing to buy a discontinued model. We get it, cool guy- big tyme hook-ups.
Sometimes you're a VIP, most times, you're just a P.
Dooo eeeeet!I do want to try an SB135.
That's a douche move by Yeti...I was able to reserve the sb140lr for a demo. I'll be using the 1up rack this time. I rented a yeti for a friend a few months ago and used by truck's Da Kine pad to transport, and actually got charged for 'paint damage' to the bike.
Even her Toyota Sienna had mystery problems!!! Eventually traded it due to a premature transmission failure. It's a gift."For the record, I spent less on my new Yeti than most of you did for your bike." @herzalot
Bet you didn't.
Oh and with all the money you saved maybe you can get your wife a reliable car.....
An important detail if you are going to go demo a Yeti...
RIDING NOTE FROM YETI:
Riders planning to transport Yeti Demo Bikes must adhere to these conditions per Cam Skalla the Demo Driver:
Riders without access to a rack as noted may consider riding Whiting Ranch from the Shop
- “Permanent” bike racks are cool with me. They must be a hitch/roof/similar rack to ensure the bike is safe.
- We cannot allow shuttle of bikes on tailgate pads, and I am unable to make exceptions. My fleet is not equipped with shuttle guards, and I’m not willing to risk damage to my bikes.
Wow - that seems to fit with the Yeti image, unfortunately.
Hey Cam - they are demo bikes - they are expected to get a little dinged up!
