Who's Riding Where???

Something mellow(er) in Sedona on Monday then several of us are going down to PHX on Tuesday to ride the new(er) stuff at Hawes. Looking to ride Ride Mountain Rush
and Big Sister. We'll see what the group thinks about Sunset Ridge
A few of us are spending teh night and then riding Gold Canyon the next day. Nobody else in the group has been there so it should be a good time

That there is good stuff! Nice that you are able to keep up with the stylish rider in front of you for additional trail perspective.

"Gnarsky!"

I have to get myself out that way.
Nate Hills does a incredible job on his videos.

He at least gives a realistic view of the trails, even though his edits....and riding skills....might make it looks easier than it is sometimes. I will say that the Hawes seems to been fire and getting all the hype down that way nowadays. It's like nobody ever talks about South Mountain any more.

Time to rock-n-roll... Or is it more of a bluesy number...

Bommer Canyon Saturday. I figure climb the near vertical hill to Cattle Crest and then down, up Rabbit Run and then back down. Shady Canyon to the fire road climb and then over to drop East Fork. Back up Ridge Route (which will not be pleasant for me at that point) and then over to Rabbit or Cattle, and if I have the energy, down one of them. Back up Rabbit and out.

Starting 7 or 7:30 @ Quail to (hopefully) beat the FB group that will be there.

I am meeting some friends at the Bruery later that day so I need to get in and get out. Get some.

So I take it everything in Bommer and Moro is now open again?

JRA Grountain Bike 04/03/22.
This is a great event. It consists of two laps. One on your MTB. One on your gravel bike. First lap, counterclockwise. Second lap, clockwise. There are two options. One is 15 miles and 2200 feet per lap and the other is 20 miles and 3350 feet per lap. Jennifer is one of the organizers and will be volunteering the day of the event. I'd love to see a few IMTBers there. More info here....

I have a two-bike hitch rack and both a mountain bike and a gravel bike.....

No guarantee I'll be there, but it looks somewhat interesting.

Be still my heart! I am so down for this!

Oh shoot - April 3rd. Can't. I'm celebrating April Fools that day! :cautious:

Is Black Star Canyon closed due to recent fires or can I do Quail Hill ( Sand Canyon and 405 freeway ) down to Crystal cove and back and not run into closed trails? Thanks

Thinking of heading over to Santiago Oaks tomorrow morning. Never been and I'd like to get out to somewhere different. Any tips on the place? I talked with a friend who's been there about going together but haven't heard back so it may be a solo run. If anyone is planning on riding there Tues morning, maybe you could point me in the right direction. Don't need any hand holding other than how to get back to the parking lot but wouldn't mind the company. Probably be shooting for a 7:30 - 8:00 am roll out.
