That there is good stuff! Nice that you are able to keep up with the stylish rider in front of you for additional trail perspective.Something mellow(er) in Sedona on Monday then several of us are going down to PHX on Tuesday to ride the new(er) stuff at Hawes. Looking to ride Ride Mountain Rushand Big Sister. We'll see what the group thinks about Sunset RidgeA few of us are spending teh night and then riding Gold Canyon the next day. Nobody else in the group has been there so it should be a good time
Nice! Jennifer and I were just talking about the Palm Springs century. Neither one of us knows if we would want to do another century.103 miles tomorrow in the Coachella Valley. With my brother. Should be fun. Haven't done this one since 2016.

So I take it everything in Bommer and Moro is now open again?Bommer Canyon Saturday. I figure climb the near vertical hill to Cattle Crest and then down, up Rabbit Run and then back down. Shady Canyon to the fire road climb and then over to drop East Fork. Back up Ridge Route (which will not be pleasant for me at that point) and then over to Rabbit or Cattle, and if I have the energy, down one of them. Back up Rabbit and out.
Starting 7 or 7:30 @ Quail to (hopefully) beat the FB group that will be there.
I am meeting some friends at the Bruery later that day so I need to get in and get out. Get some.
Everything @Obsidian describes is north of the 73 Toll Road. Cousin T-No rode this today without issue: https://www.strava.com/activities/6692577825So I take it everything in Bommer and Moro is now open again?

Do contestants have to be riding a grountain bike for this event?JRA Grountain Bike 04/03/22.
This is a great event. It consists of two laps. One on your MTB. One on your gravel bike. First lap, counterclockwise. Second lap, clockwise. There are two options. One is 15 miles and 2200 feet per lap and the other is 20 miles and 3350 feet per lap. Jennifer is one of the organizers and will be volunteering the day of the event. I'd love to see a few IMTBers there. More info here....

CeeDubb turns 50 today and he chose to do a boat load of Floop laps today. Sounds like we’ll be there most of the day. If you see a couple guys on their fifth lap throw water at us. And snacks.
That sounds fun!Suicide tomorrow to wring out the new tires and then climb up Dead Cow for the rip out down Chesebro
Is Black Star Canyon closed due to recent fires or can I do Quail Hill ( Sand Canyon and 405 freeway ) down to Crystal cove and back and not run into closed trails? Thanks
Thanks MtnbikeJ!Blackstar is open.
