I’m down for some Aliso/Laguna too. San Juan. Joplin. Old Camp-double luge. Maybe a road ride to jump in the ocean..? Any chance I can trick you into the bottom of a Canyon after 3,700’ of climbing? Also look out; I invited 3 buddies and my boss along. It’s just me so far.

I love that route, and even I wouldn't recommend it on a weekend if the gates are open. :gag: You'll be sucking dust for 7 miles unless you start well before dawn.

Too cold before dawn. What type of trails are you riding in the Conejo? There was two larger groups out tonight. One climbing Lizzard Rock, Lizzy is a screamer 600 ft down with corners carved above your head. Another group on the West Mesa coming in from the model airport. There were 2 solos out, one on the West Mesa ready to drop into Spring cyn. And of course me. We got some sprinkles tonight. All Conejo trails are open at night so name your poison. My favourite is Space Mountain at night AWHOOOO. Tonight a large creature broke brush on my left. I was climbing so it was not a fair fight. Do not know what it was. Nothing on the trails except me, the crasher and the normal critters.

Cheeseboro and vicinity is going to be getting very cold so it will soon be late in no time. NRMB has at least two rides a week at night, one tonight. They get up to 12 peeps out and about. Their web site is not current because of the Co-19 virus. But I see their lights now and then.

I mostly do Space Mountain and Rosewood to get to it. I’ve been riding for a few months but would saying I’m intermediate, with bigger rock gardens still a challenge for me. I’ve done Dos Vientos and Los Robles the other way as well.

So you have one buddy who can't start until 11:00, and another buddy that can only do Noon to 3:00, but you're asking what time I want to ride? :confused: :D
It sounds like you will be riding Noon to 3:00 - if you are committed to your riding buddies.

I'll join you for San Juan or Laguna/Aliso. Lemme know your meet time and place.

You are correct, but I also would stick around and ride later with you if you couldn’t join at noon.
We’re meeting at noon at the east end of Ridge Park Road where Bommer Ridge Trail begins. There will be 4 of us total, unless any additional Hooligans decide to show up (@littlewave is a strong possibility). I don’t know the route, whatever the group decides.
