Who's Riding Where???

Headed out the door now. It rained a bit yesterday, for maybe a half hour or so of soaking, but things outside look OK. I imagine it isn't going to be prime so it may end up being a park/street excursion to air it out for a while. More rain on tap for tomorrow; I am going to get what I can now.

The wife and I did a hike through Cherry Canyon yesterday. Lots of hikers (with dogs off the leash ) and riders up there. I guess there isn't a whole lot to do since school and work is out for so many. And hero dirt.... Super duper awesome hero dirt. I think I'm gonna hit it after work this afternoon. :D

It's recommended that you get outdoors, just not in groups.

Is reading comprehension a disappearing art??
Depends where and what you read! And if you could read and see, You would see that I've back tracked from what I posted just above, so clearly I read something different and changed my thoughts. I know riding our bikes is considered essential for us, but it's not for your average Jo Blow.

"Exceptions will be made for services deemed essential, including food stores and distribution centers (such as grocery stores, farmers markets, food banks, convenience stores, and restaurants that offer take-out and deliver options), pharmacies, banks, gas stations and laundromats."

Romp under the Rim

Lollipop starting at highway 260 heading west. Minimal pavement, way over 50% ST, all of it new to me except Washington Park (the high north point). 74/8400

This will be tougher than the AZT overnighter I did a couple weeks ago. Same strategy – solo, one minimal bivy, ready-to-eat food, Steripen water resupply, bike light just in case. I'm thinking that, because of the recent storm, the return trip south of Highline Trail could have better surface conditions than on top of the rim.

I've driven past these trails a hundred times, so this foray is well overdue.
