Who's Riding Where???

Mike where do you guys get all theses demo bikes from?

Pro Bike Supply in Newport Beach. He sells Yeti, Ibis and Pivot. The best part is the demos are outfitted like most of his customers buy them....Fox Factory suspension, carbon wheels, carbon bar, etc...They are also in great shape. He charges $65 but in return, you get $65 in store credit to be used on anything you want. Most places say they will deduct the rental fee off the price of a bike but at PBS, you can use that $65 credit to buy a Feedback Sports bike stand like me, ENVE carbon handlebars, a new bike part, service or towards a new bike.

By comparison, I demo'd a Ripmo from a shop down here in SD that was in less than stellar condition, Performance level suspension, a seat that was so worn it was slippery and a KS seat post that had play in every direction. Admittedly, the demo was free because a guy in our group has bought 5 bikes from the shop.

Anybody down for a SkyPark day trip next week?

Whatever you do, do not hit SkyPark Sat or Sun ... they are doing a Bikefest and demo event
thing. I was there for the last one and it was a complete Sh!t show. eBikes flying past on the climb, a hundred bikers at the top standing around talking about their bikes and/or skills. Super crowded. It will be lame.

Thinking Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. There's no way I'd go up there on a weekend.

.
I may be off monday.... would the lifts be better?

I prefer SkyPark as it's a little more mellow. I'll think on Summit.
Wed a possibility for me, but leaning towards riding Exploration trail again. But if you're going to be up there at Skypark Wed, might join you
Now that I think of it I'm leaning towards Monday or Tuesday. I think Wednesday will be a nightmare traffic-wise.
