Looks like Kate came from very meager means to overcome the depths of poverty to find her way out through mt. biking. A lap pool? There wasn't even a diving board! I shudder at the thought. And I imagine they made her tend that orchard (or was it a vineyard) on their property. She even answered the door herself, without the butler!
