Atoll singletrack.

I did media-coverage of the NORRA 1000 offroad race last April/May:

Ensenada - San Felipe
San Felipe - Bay of LA
Bay of LA - Loreto
Loreto - La Paz
La Paz - San Jose Del Cabo

I was chasing sunrises & sunsets on Sea of Cortez -- photos & HD video

On the way back, I went around the East Cape from SJDC to La Paz, then to San Everisto. Met some Americans living in houses near Cabo Pulmo. Sunset video here:

I was going for the "real" Baja experience -- no hotels or touristy restaurants. Sleeping in driver's seat of my Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ (1996), finding a camping spot on the beach.

I brought my 2001 Giant Warp DS3 (bought for $20 on Craigslist in really bad shape, fixed it up), but NEVER rode it!! I "lost" it at Guerrero Negro, when I used it for collateral to get a spare 31" tire (I got a flat near Coco's corner, south of Puertocitos). My 3rd party never ended up paying the tire-shop, so the Giant is still down there.

Loreto sunrise, just before Motorbike start:

Blew into San Felipe on Thu, just in time for Contingency for Ultra4 San Felipe 100 race ("rock crawling")

Sunrise from Pete's Camp was among the best sunrises of my entire Baja trip..SF is very accessible from SoCal (seafood on Malecon is great!! Fresh clams is my favorite, plate of 20 for $5)
