We are the GREATEST fvcking nation!

Just wondering how you guys legitimized all those chickens and eggs?
Good question. From a biological perspective, we didn’t have to. The chickens are not protected under the California Endangered Species Act, and their farm is not defined Critical Habitat. From an agricultural perspective, we cited City Zoning and surrounding land uses to declare the chicken farm an incompatible and non-conforming land use, so it’s removal would not be a significant impact to agriculture in the City. The CEQA doesn’t consider socioeconomic effects part of the environment (yet), so the eggs as a commodity don’t count.

This is why we can’t have nice things.
I don’t know if I understand this response. And that’s okay.
My response is simply to protect you all from yourselves.
Like @BonsaiNut said of himself, I went back and read my response and it sounded angry. To be honest, there has been several posts in other threads by Greg that had a harsh or angry overtone. But I have met Greg and he is an extremely endearing and accommodating friend. So I worry that our words do not reflect our intent.

There is a vast gap in political perspectives and personal core values on imtbtrails. I would have a Politics thread on here if I didn’t think it would make us all hate each other’s guts within about 2 days.

So I cringe when we go off on tangents of this nature. That is all!

Perhaps you should allow us to fight it out in words for designated periods of time and then you can pull the plug whenever you've had enough. I doubt that it would keep the Republican and Democratic riders from continuing to ride together.

Of course you are angry, your Canadian.

Wow! Didn't expect so much commentary. I negotiate/mediate for a living so by default, I'm open to listening to both sides. As a son of illegal immigrant parents and an illegal immigrant myself (I was dress as a little girl to enter in 1976 when I was 6 months old), I have the utmost respect and love for the opportunities this country afforded my parents and I. Parents made the most of it and so have I- no handouts, no welfare, no aid, etc. We went days without eating for a few days early on but we triumphed!
