I think the first 20 miles are more your idea of fun.
I'm sure that'd be fun.....not too sure about the other 80 MILES though!!

I'm signed up for the little kids' ride. 44 miles. I'm hoping to finish that.
I will not be there this year....... Have a blast out there, and keep the rubber side down.
Long range weather is looking great. High of 64, low of 39 on race day. 0% precipitation.
Let’s hope that holds.
The high on Gooseberry Mesa is now forecast for 62, morning low of 40. Rain in the evening. Looks 'bout as perfect as it can get.
But this conflicts with the Solvang Century. Not that I'm doing either of these...
I thought of your love of exposure when I watched this one... Exposure usually doesn't bother me, but I know which line I'm taking.
I've actually become more blasé about exposure, up to a point. SART didn't bother me; GE has a bit of it that also didn't bother me last time I rode it; I may still do San Juan... Yeah, I might walk some of the gnarlier sections of Gooseberry's primo-looking stuff, but I'd actually enjoy it. I think.
What... Did I hear you say that we need to schedule a Holy Jim to San Juan ride? Or maybe even a Trabuco to San Juan ride?
And those guys are picking on you for not driving to Laguna to fight the crowds...

Except we are about 30 mins from Gooseberry. I have found that the weather in the 2 locations to differ.
