I see... It's a get beat up badly for 7 miles downhill...

Like the Motorway in OC?

The uphill is 7 or 8 miles. The downhill isn’t that long I’m guessing maybe 4 miles of brake burning forearm pump from squeezing the brake levers. I know nothing about Motorway but it sounds awesome.

Awesomeness, but not sure it's worth the drive. 4,200 feet and 15 miles of elevation gain for a 3 mile downhill romp. I like it, but I only have to drive 25-30 minutes to get to the trailhead. Others here can roll out of the garage.

Imagine a skeleton of a road that for a considerable stretch is nothing but a pitted, wavy, loose, steep, babyhead rock garden. Yep, that's Motorway.

Jimmy Deans is right off I-5 near Magic Mountain as you are headed for home. Best char-burger West of the Pecos.

That's not unlike your climbs up GMR with the return down MTT. Just a lil' rougher.

Can't make this weekend but some point I want to come up and do the Piru to Snowy loop. Looks like a fun adventure ride. Maybe a weekend or two after WW50?

I wish I could burn in the new brakes I just installed, but my daughter has a basketball tournament tomorrow. Plus it is super close to me. I have done part of this ride before. Climb from the campground to the tower is tough. Watch out for the crazy drivers on that road.
