The Floop with Tinker

My back yard? Tinker? Sweet! Can't wait to get some pic's at the jump playground. :thumbsup: I might even post them :laugh:.

It happened. 11 of us joined Tinker for a social paced Fully ride. I was glad it was a small group. Rather than having a mob mentality, it was more up close and intimate. Tinker gave a quick speech about his career and off we went. Throughout some climbing sections, Tinker would critique our technique. Those of you who said Tinker doesn't talk much, well maybe that's during a race event where he's focusing or tired from a race. Tinker was in full gab mode. It was cool talking with him about things like his derailleur sucking and his fork not locking just like you would do with your buddies. At one point I even asked him how much $$$ he makes. $200k/yr back in the day, Wow! Nowdays :eek:. Was fun following a Pro through trails, watching his lines and quick maneuvers around obstacles. Towards the end we took him to the jumps. I was really hoping to see him throw a whip or clear a gap but these jumps are a little intimidating when you first see them. Maybe next time, if there is one. Probably a smart choice too. I would hate to see Tinker get injured at the Floop of all places. What if that ended his career, yikes! We all had a good time, just a fun day at Fully for no apparent reason. Got some good swag: jersey, shirts, pictures, stickers, bottles, all signed. Afterwards Tinker joined us at Roscoe's for some grub and drinks. :thumbsup:

Oh, and no-one paid the $40. Thanks Guy!
