He's been hawking a lot of stuff on eBay lately... But I didn't see this one coming. 1 lap of the world famous Fullerton Loop with Tinker. And a t-shirt. o_O

I guess we won't see him in Pioneertown this year...

Whadya say, @Runs with Scissors?

why the F would anyone pay for that? i can watch faster riders than myself fade into the distance any day, for free.
Love your signature, Gary!

"aww..c'mon gravity...you used to be cool."

Not related to this thread, but since when did that matter?

And yes, of all the people I would make a special effort to go ride with, I don't think Tinker would be on my list. He's quiet and fast and I would have nothing to say. Me: "Hi TInker - Loved watching you climb the front of the Winter Park ski area in your big ring in a 1992 NORBA race." Tinker "Thanks."

Usually a mtb celeb would have a sales job by now... I guess this "is" his sales job now.
He's a good dude and I already have a signed number plate by him in the 90's. Certainly not to take away from Tinker but I'm pretty sure I would not pay $40 bucks to drive 3 hours to ride with a guy that will not say much of anything the whole ride on the Floop. Now maybe on P12 but certainly not the Floop... Oh no! Did I use my outside typing voice?

Yep... He is also working as a coach now, but I can't imagine that pays all the bills.

FFS man... at least photochop the "This is how your listing will look... " blurb off.
Ya I know, just too lazy...
So do we get a signed kickstand after the ride or is it under kickstands on eBay because one is required on this ride?
Yes you need a kickstand while we sit around and drink beer.
Your only at a buck, tinker is 40 times more popular than you!

And of course, all you'll get with tinker is a greeting and the beginning, and him waiting for me at the end.

At least with tortoise I can probably keep up.
I can guarantee you'll be able to keep up

Was at a buddy's shop today when someone came in talking about this ride. Thought I would share encase anyone was interested.

Thanks @velorider562!
There happens to be a thread going on this here: http://www.imtbtrails.com/forum/threads/the-floop-with-tinker.4109/#post-47242
I will merge this thread with that one.
Thanks again!

I'd ride with him at P-12 too. Short drive or ride for me. I'm cracking up about "riding with a guy that will not say much of anything". When I met him It went something like this. Me (attempting small talk): "Hey, how is the new Lefy Tinker? Tinker: "Good". Me "Umm ... can I get a picture with you?" Tinker: "Yes".
