I tried to convince my wife to camp this weekend but she has other things going on. I would love to sit around drink more beer Sat. Then wake up Sun morning and get a shuttle to Just Outstanding and Dutch Flats. If I didn't have to build my bike back up on Fri. I would joim you Fri.

Yeah, that's my plan. The sitting round and drinking beer part anyway. That and bumming a shower from E & J!

Thanks to @Faust29 for taking a screen shot of this this. I'm saving this picture forever since it's proof positive that on a given day with conditions being what they were I smoked all you trash talkers. Hmm this was probably on an OG Ripley to boot. Last time I was there I was on that stupid Yeti that was always trying to spit me off. Never ridden it on a Hightower...

So... What we can draw from this is that an XC race hardtail with a 70 degree head angle, 100mm fork, one gear, and no dropper post is faster than @Mikie and his Yeti were.

I remember the look on his face at the brewery when I made that screen grab! He had no signal and couldn't upload his super run. :D:p

I'll take it. A win is a win.

If you stay Sat. night, are you going to plan to ride on Sun.?

I wasn't planning on it, but could be talked into it. I'm thinking now that we're going to be done kinda' early Saturday, maybe 3:00 or so... so maybe kinda' not worth it to stay Sat night. I thought the finish would be around 5 or 6 when I originally reserved. There's a $10 cancellation fee, so not worth it as I'm still undecided. TMI?

Yeah, I was kind of thinking the same way. Unfortunately. It will be hot up there so is it really worth hanging out outside in the heat.
