Please don't snap pix of me when I'm on the ground after a crash. TIA!
Trust me, it happened...but we were too busy giggling and high-5-ing to take any photos.Pics or it didn't happen!
I would surely take the "no pic" side of that deal if presented the option!Pics or it didn't happen!

You're more zen that I, my friend. Power to you for chanelling positively.I would surely take the "no pic" side of that deal if presented the option!
Ya know, I don't mind it, even though it's ugly it's a good reminder of the feeling at the moment, which was a mix of "damn this sucks" and "wow I'm lucky my feet and hands move".
Oh, the mammaries! I look forward to the next time we do that ride, D.Trust me, it happened...but we were too busy giggling and high-5-ing to take any photos.

I've got some sweet vid of myself endangering my own spine. I'm sickened by viewing it and would never share it publicly. I've had a few of those low moments, and I get no motivation from reviewing them. But I'm kind of light, so YMMV.
Dave, I'll repeat how fortunate you are with the outcome on this one. That's my takeaway.

Just got to looking at the GPS track.... but the feather is broken...I see the Strava Squiggly where you made that switchback pass on both Mr. Bomb and Mr. Sausage! That’s a pretty good feather in your cap.
Thanks, Ross.I understand the feeling. I don't even like to watch Pinkbike's Friday fails...I don't want to laugh at other's misfortune.
Dang, this made me laugh so hard the mocking birds quit singing momentarily, carry on my feathered friends. Please don't snap pix of me when I'm on the ground after a crash. TIA!
Unlike many of my posts, it was intended as an honest request. Believe it or not! Cheers, TQ.Dang, this made me laugh so hard the mocking birds quit singing momentarily, carry on my feathered friends.
I find myself moving to this feeling too. Some of those crashes are really bad and I don’t know if they were ok or not.I understand the feeling. I don't even like to watch Pinkbike's Friday fails...I don't want to laugh at other's misfortune.
Me either. I won't watch.I understand the feeling. I don't even like to watch Pinkbike's Friday fails...I don't want to laugh at other's misfortune.
After five weeks and change, back on the bike today. Great getting out there, pretty tame trails but felt epic. Very thankful I can ride again. No problem with the neck and shoulder pain while riding, but after, when it all stiffens up.... Still, so much better than it was even a couple weeks ago.

Don't know about spectacular but that was by far the hardest crash I've ever had. Sure hope it doesn't take you 5 weeks to get back at it!Yay! I'm you now, but not nearly as spectacular.
Broken rib(s) supposed to take 6 weeks. Dunno if that's the diagnosis or not. My home-made x-ray machine is sort of unclear.Don't know about spectacular but that was by far the hardest crash I've ever had. Sure hope it doesn't take you 5 weeks to get back at it!
I still have a little pain when taking deep breaths, but much better than it was that first couple weeks. My x-rays showed no fractures just like your machine Nothing you can do anyway... as long as a rib isn't poking into your lung you should be ok (Holiday Inn last night)Broken rib(s) supposed to take 6 weeks.
