Sorry, Ross... That was for legal services. Not for getting serviced. :stop: Wrong kind of stimulus.

Can't get the website to accept my direct deposit information this morning. Get to the point of submitting and receive a "technical difficulty" message. Tried numerous times since 6 AM. Why make the website live if it doesn't fricking work?

It's me, my wife, and my daughter's worth. That ought to be worth a solid hour's entertainment.

Sometimes it pays to be "poor". :D

I'm less confident now that we'll see anything. We don't qualify for any stimulus, but I thought we were going to get a nice floater bump from the forgivable small business loans. I applied for both the EIDL and PPP loans on the same day that the applications became available, which was 4/4 and 4/10 respectively. Haven't seen anything yet, and saw today that all the money allocated for those loans is now gone. Not sure if that just means no more applications are being accepted but the ones that are in will get funded, or if those that haven't received their gubment cheese yet are SOL. I guess the politicians are negotiating re-funding those, but I grow way less hopeful that I'll see anything.

My dad filed with three different banks for the PPP loan and a bank in Utah was as he said “all over it” and made it happen for them. He heard back last Friday when they filed though. I know a local brewery, Tustin brewing co, got theirs done from the small bank they share a parking lot with. No clue how it works but maybe it has to do with volume of applicants per institution.

Fingers crossed for you, hope it works out.

I appreciate the good thoughts. It seems the gubment cheese gods may be smiling on me. Literally 5 minutes after I posted I got an email from Citibank (where I hold my business checking account, and thus where I applied) that my PPP loan app was approved. They sent me a document to docusign in order to finalize, which I just did. Fingers crossed.

Did I hear it correctly on the news this morning that the Govt is working on a package that would send stimulus payments every month for the next 6 months?

Cliff's Notes? I'm managing expectations either way.
A small ice cream shop chain applied for 1.5 million, they were approved for $15k. The owner laughed, thought it was a joke. Next day, even the 15 was no longer being offered.

She layed off virtually everyone as all the stores were closed, she wanted the loan to keep them on payroll. She had planned to clear 10 million in revenue this year.

Still just a proposal, but yeah, something along those lines.

Did it say if that was the PPP loan, or EIDL? That EIDL loan seems like a joke, and the criteria seemed to change drastically after it was released.

Reading more about the PPP loan, it kind of sounds like additional funding for the program is imminent. The document I received from my bank said I was approved for the full amount that I applied for, but it's unclear if that means approved by them (the lender) but still has to be processed by the SBA, or if it's fully approved. No funds as of this morning, regardless.

Even though their business got approved a week ago today, my dad’s expecting the money to hit sometime next week so definitely a lag from approval to funding. I don't have details on the approval process but hopefully you’re in the queue for funds. Positive vibes!

I just heard on the radio that funds have officially run out for one of the loans offered and no new applications will be accepted. I think it was the SBA PPP program, but I am not sure?
