Star Wars Stuff Spoiler Zone - pew pew

I have really been enjoying the Mandalorian series on D+. It's a little bit slow-paced compared to a movie, but it's been a good series overall. I like the characters, and casting has been great, and of course it lets me hang out in the Star Wars universe for a little while. I really like the tie-ins with Rebels and Clone Wars, as those two animated series have had some of the best Star Wars moments since 1983.

So anyway, on to the big reveal of the season 2 finale... Luke! I loved seeing him arrive and enter the story... Just perfect. The internet seems to not like the de-aging CGI they did on Mark Hamill, but I thought it was fine. I didn't like how stoic and reserved he was, as I think the best part of the Luke Skywalker character is how animated and full of life he was. But hey, I was happy to see him! I think the CGI was better than Carrie Fisher in Rogue One, and a ton better than Peter Cushing. Cushing was so bad I got mad and how bad it was! And then that Vader scene changed everything and I was back on board again!

And the end credit scene with Boba Fett It's going to be really interesting. It says the book of Boba Fett December 2021. But December 2021 is when season 3 of The Mandalorian is supposed to stream, so is it going to be about Boba and not Din?

Before then there is supposed to be a live-action Ahsoka Tano series, and as well as a Kenobi series with Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen. I LOVE McGregor's Obi-Wan, so this is going to get my attention! Then there's at least two other live-action series and an animated series. Lots of Star Wars coming in on D+!

How can there be a Star Wars spoiler? The Empire builds a Death Star and pushes the rebels around for a bit, maybe even blows up a planet or two and then the rebels fight back, taking a million to one shot to blow up the Death Star. Rinse and repeat the same story for billions.

Gina Carano is the worst actress ever! Some really bad lines/writing too. So slow paced...needs to be more like The Expanse ( new season just started! )

Cant believe he took off the Helmet, after all the BS about leaving it on.

Why cant Empire people shot staight?!

I dig Mandalorian, only watched to original three movies growing up and never got into the newer movies.

My wife never watched anything Star Wars and is into the Mandalorian. We don’t watch much TV (kids rule the remote anyways and if we didn’t have them we wouldn’t have Disney+) and this is the first series we’ve been into since Flight of the Conchords.

Yeah, GC's pretty boring. She's okay, whatevs.

And Bill Burr's character totally called him out for taking the helmet off whenever it was convenient. That was spot on. Plus I liked the Lady Mandos making fun of him for the sect he's part of. Mean girls are pretty cool.

Pacing overall is really slow, but I think that's deliberate to match the old west vibe they've got going on. And damn isn't The Expanse such a good show. I need to start season five.

Looking forward to seeing how the Machete/Mando mash up turns out... space magic!!!

I have it on good authority that Jon Favreau absolutely blows a gasket whenever anyone refers to The Child as Baby Yoda... That may have changed since the dollars started rolling in by the truckload.

And... Pre-Production Baby Yoda approves of this thread.
