Spring Flowers - let's see them!

These are one of may favorites to see on the trail. Artichoke Thistle/Wild Artichoke
From what I have read, these are an invasive species and tend to prorogate where their roots have been disturbed; splinter off and make new plants. Also can spread with seedlings.
Like most of the flowers this year, they are blooming later than usual due to our non-rain events.
The others that are late to the game this year are California Poppies (Fried Eggs) which are very fragrant right now.
