SART #2

Failed my ass!!!!! Not everyone gets to be on the summit team; everyone contributes to the tick. Some even rear children simultaneously...which I'd rate as a little harder than summiting. Everyone got home okay? I call success :)
I assume everyone got home OK, although it was still running when I finished. Monkey piss isn't going to call me again because Jeff is going to go tell everybody how crappy the ride was. Actually the ride was pretty damn good.

Made it! Morton was in the shade and lower sart pretty in the sunset.
What are your stats Burt?

What's the route up to Sugarloaf?
Git yerself up to Wildhorse Meadow either from Heart Bar Camp or Big Bear and head west up the slope. You should see a trail and maybe a sign in the vicinity of the meadow. When in doubt, climb westward until there ain't no mo climbing to be had. Then gingerly make yer way back down to Wildhorse Meadow, making sure to walk any sections strewn with rocks and/or slopes greater than 2*, and call for a shuttle to take you down to the brewery.

I'd likely be starting from Loch Leven. I don't know where Wildhorse or Heart Bar are. I'll just browse Strava.

Once you reach Southfork Camp (from Lock Leven), you would either ride up SR138 for about 5.25 miles to the attached waypoint (Wildhorse Meadows Road) or cross the highway to the south side of 138 and take the equestrian trail (2E03.6-5-4) eastbound toward Heart Bar Camp (once you hit the paved road, Coon Creek Jumpoff-1N02, you'll need to climb back up to 138 northwest-bound and continue climbing east on 138 for about 2.25 miles until you arrive at the attached waypoint (Wildhorse Meadows Road) via that route. Climb up the fireroad (Wildhorse Meadows Road until you see the meadows. Keep cruising until the road starts to descend at Waypoint (Wildhorse Meadows Junction to Sugarloaf Peak_Head WEST upslope). Here you should take a hard left and head west upslope. You should find singletrack in this immediate vicinity that takes you to Sugarloaf. When in doubt, climb west toward the highest ground until there aint no mo terrain heading uphill. Don't forget to arrange for the shuttle to take you back down the mountain. Let's not get crazy.

Thanks. Don't think I'll be able to hit that before winter sets in (maybe). I'll keep that in mind.
