Yup, I had maybe less than 200 miles on mine, and I built it up nicer than the R Build and could not seem to get an offer north of $800 or 900 for it.
That’s a whole lotta.......purple.

Welcome! Initial impression?
If you're happy then it was money well spent. Congrats on the new ride!First ride yesterday, local trails
out of the house. The trails are
pretty mellow, kinda the reason
for a hardtail.
The bike rolled faster and was smoother
than expected. This is my first 29er.
It was a blast!

Took the $$ from selling your son's bike and bought that eh?
Yup!
He’s not riding any more and
the Nomad was pretty much the
same bike as my Bronson.
I’ve always wanted a Chameleon.
I bought a last year's model (2022) brand new unboxed Fox Factory 34 29-130 Grip2 to upgrade my Chameleon Fox 34 Rythm off of Ebay. I had a Fox 34 Grip2 on the Ibis Ripley I sold and I thought it was a very good fork. I must say that given the choice I'd buy RockShox Pike but the price was really good- The Ebay seller I bought from has many other forks and parts and has a 100% satisfaction rating.

It's currently single speed. I'm still searching for that single speed love some of you have.I love my green/purple Chameleon, but those colors are dreamy!

YOu have to commit to it. Ride only the SS for 2-3 weeks. It gets easier. Riding it only once every couple of weeks, you'll never get the feel for it.
And try it on a shorter ride.
