I like the clean look of internal. My Ibis bikes are super simple to route internally and have the option of running full length housing internally to make cable changes simple if you want to go that route.
+1 on this. The internal routing on my Santa Cruz is super simple, super clean, and super easy to work on.
 
I always wanted to try out a TT rig like that....I could imagine how fast they are in a straight line.

I had a chance to demo a Cervelo P3 with some Zipp 1080's a few years ago at a Cervelo demo. People were reaching for the S3's and R3's. I went for the most expensive one...which was the P3. The bike is pretty much designed to as fast as possible in a straight line. It turns, climbs, and brakes like crap. It was the fastest pedaling and sketchiest bike I've ridden. Hitting bumps while on the extensions...scary.

If you have a chance to get on a TT bike...do it.:D
