Ride L.A. or Sycamore in Riverside and you will be amazed at the constant broken glass and dog Sh!t everywhere.
We have it good, for the most part.

I am truly interested from a psychological perspective - what makes male humans want to vandalize with graffiti? Is it really the same as male dogs peeing on everything to mark their territory? How come I never felt the need to mark my territory or to draw penises? I am not really asking. I am just wondering aloud.

At least we don't have motorcycles and jeeps rolling up on us here like you do in da OC. The dog poop and broken glass add to the features on our trails. I'll take that over sharing the dirt with motor vehicles any day of the week.

This reminds me of a conversation I had with my wife while up by the DIXIE rock in St. George. There is that spectacular Pioneer Park with the manicured gardens and trails right next the the St. George Narrows. I said to her “if this place (the narrows which is the natural area) existed here in So Cal so close to a populated area it would no doubt be all tagged up with graffiti.”
I guess they can afford to have such nice parks like Pioneer since they don’t have to spend tax dollars on cleaning up graffiti and all the other stuff we deal with here that is just non existent elsewhere. Ugh, I hate to say it but I might be getting closer to leaving and I don’t want to.
