I'm thinking that perhaps this is a hint about doing a bikepacking trip through there. Only this time, it might be a Summertime trip. Recent day time highs in Furnace Creek have been pushing 120F. with lows in the 80s. Lovely...

If anyone is interested, ebay has 3M 1860 masks (AFAIK, the ones used in hospitals) and ETSY 3M 8210 masks (ones approved for use when 1860 masks aren't available). Kind of expensive, but I thought they were all designated for healthcare workers; apparently not. Theoretically they should protect individuals from airborne inhalation of the virus IMO, but I'm not an epidemiologist.

Found this photo of my old '06 Pista w/ Thomson stem/seatpost, Nitto bars and a Brooks titanium rail Swift saddle. This was in the liquor room of one of the bars I used to bartend at. It was stolen shortly after at another bar over 4th of July.
