Congratulations, Mikie, for creating and shepherding this great website and bringing us all together!

Your new bike is awesome and such an upgrade from 'my' first bike. Even though it was belt-drive and could rail the tightest turns, I just felt more confident and capable when I stepped up to the bigger wheels and longer wheelbase of my stingray. Fortunately, it wasn't battery powered so I was able to start off on the right foot. That being said, I think it's possible to disable the motor on the new rig and not compromise your principles..

I used the cheater small logs that set up against it on each side of the big log which turned it into a roll-over. Cleaned it both ways.

I was about dead by the time we were doing the plunge section of ST back down to the parking area. I had consumed a full pack bladder of water, an additional large bottle of water, and 12 ounces of Gatorade. I was light headed and completely drained. I wish I had recorded more of the final descent, I thought I had. As @Mikie says, "that is my kind of trail".
