New Years Day Chilao Ride

Fun ride today guys. Everyone survived and rode strong. It was cool meeting all you guys.

Nice route and lotsa techy stuff. First I went over the bars in front of Grego then I stuffed it in some buckthorn and flatted. I brought a pocket knife to a sword fight in the tallboy and skinny tires. No wonder Mikie likes that place. Soft corners and his plus tires made for it! Cool chit baby!
 
I don't know, @Tom the Bomb , I seem to do just fine out there at about 2.35" Maxxis. It is very loose in some of those corners but you just gotta weight it out.
What was disappointing to me was all the "alternative" lines being created by mtbers. What used to be a sinuous line through and over the rocks now looks like a trail map for Park City. Trails all over and most don't make any sense. Bring on the rains....

Ya I am running 2.2s could use a bit more rubber out their. Yes I agree looks like tire track running all over the place leading to nowhere.
