@Luis being the slow guy on a group ride is scary to think about.

I know there's another thread on this site related to famous or well known rider sightings, but these are the people that I was riding up with to inspiration point. I grabbed a screen shot of my friend Mike T's Strava page after the ride. Just wanted to see who this group that was kicking my arse consisted of.

There's one name missing from the list, Curtis Keene.

I Googled Anneke's name and found out that she's the reigning queen of Crankworx :eek: so yea, I got chicked by a GT factory rider :notworthy::laugh:

Oh, and here's a video of Anneke winning Fontana when she rode for Specialized

Disclaimer: I don't claim to be a badass by any means, but I like to think that I can hold my own during a ride :unsure:

Anneke is awesome. And, by the way, if you haven't seen that particular course layout at Fontana, it is seriously steep, rutted and chunky. Then you have to pedal your ass off at the wall, which is why a 29er was the winning bike. The Fontana winter series is fun because you can race with some of the world's best. In fact, their first race is probably this weekend.
