They do surgeries early weekday mornings, appointments later in the day, and golf with the pharma salesmen at Pelican Hill on Friday. Say hi to Dr Shepherd for me, and Dr Kang too if you walk by the foot and ankle room.they refer orthopedic injuries to OSI. I have an appointment there Monday afternoon. Apparently none of the orthopedic surgeons work on Fridays.

In my experience OSI has a deep bench. Dr. Kang who did my Achilles was the “junior” to Dr Peng, and I was well taken care of either way.

Welllllp.. it looks like the "how long will my back hold up?" question was answered today. Ironically, while moving my bike in my storage closet.
Surgery set for middle of next week - again.
