Yes, I hung my bike on the garage wall, with a plaque below that simply states, “l Flooped, 2019”Close the thread after this one. No need to go on.
Well I have to go with quality over quantity.

My liners are lycra (but you can't see that) so don't sweat it.View attachment 60743
I'm pretty sure 99.9% of my rides were done in lycra so not sure if any of my stats matter.
You rode to Hanga Roa! Did you stop for a drink at Piriti?Last ride of the year is out of the way! Goodbye 2019...
- Some Palm Canyon runs- one of which was almost fatal for the Professor. I think he'll do it again... He may say "F@ck you guys", but it really means yes.
- Lots of nighttime riding- Motorway, Luge, San Juan, and even Santiago Peak with the guard lion.
- Lots of snow riding
- A few trips to Laguna for the fun stuff down there
- Three road trips- True Grit, Kokopelli, and back to Saint George with the gang.
- Cannell with the gang!
- Torn shoulder was a bummer, but I kept riding some...
- Discovered the gnar of Ladera Ranch- Great for quick rides.
- More San Juan runs than I can count...
- Golden Eagle with the gang...
- Rwanda
- Pioneertown
- Big Bear and the Floop with the whole gang.
- @Grego - Probably the most touching thing I've seen in a long time...
- Wrightwood at night... Watch out for falling animal limbs. @Voodoo Tom
- Double Motorway for my last birthday in the 40s- Thanks to @mtnbikej and @horsebikerider . If I had been alone, I would have bailed.
- Wrightwood 50... It was awesome introducing @mountaingirl sara and @Walleye to the course. They both knocked it out of the park. @SS Barby also knocked it out of the park with the Wrightwood 65 or so...
That's a lot of memories... And there are certainly some I am forgetting...
The numbers part? I didn't start the year with a concrete goal, and I was actually well behind the first half of 2018. The second half, though, put me in range of 600,000 feet of elevation. That's a first and I'm not sure I'll be able to top it in 2020.

More importantly more adventures and events.
I had good form @ the true grit 50.
I was slightly injured @Kokopelli and it made the event more challenging.
BCBR was "the best week on a bike". BC trails are just a different level.
The 10 days "guys trip" to AK was cool, and I got to ride a city bike for a few miles in Anchorage.
The rest of the year was spent watching my weight balloon back to 215 lbs.
I know how to lose it, but do I have the discipline?
My goal for 2020 is to try to make it better. I'm not sure how, but I'm determined to try.
I'm optimistic (is there any other way to go through life), and as long as I stay healthy 2020 will be great.
I hoping to mix biking and international travel once again this summer. I want to go places I have never been too, and ride new trails as much as possible.
I'm ready for the next thing, bring it!
Well shite, I went to find my Strava stats for “19 and they’re gone, Strava has already moved on to “20@Faust29 and I’ll never forgive..I mean forget my first 50 with you knuckleheads
