It's gonna be a long road ahoe...a loooong road ahoe...

I'm hangin' in there, Bomb. I get to ditch the crutches next week and start physical therapy about the same time. Like I told Herzalot, I'm getting fat: a spare tire is developing around my belly, my right leg is a toothpick, and my ass cheeks are not even close to symmetrical anymore.
On the bright side, I started driving again last week and found alternative riding opportunities to keep me sane during my sabbatical from MTB. Stay tuned for a ride report!

No flippin' WAY!
Oh I believe it . . . .that is completely...

This is a photo of my botched surgery...notice the anchor button about 4mm away from the femur....that's no good.

This photo is a week later with the graft replaced and the anchor button in the proper position. At least I know moving forward that if that button moves again that the graft has failed.

Yikes

Where exactly did you crash
@Redman , I crashed on Sunday afternoon on HorseTrail Downhill at Marshall Canyon. I was 3 seconds ahead of my PR when I missed a right turn into a steep roller, and I ate it. I was able to ride an additional 8 miles without pain, but things got real poopie when the adrenaline and workout faded that night. Yea @blixet , sneezing is one of the worst things right now.

Technically, you can't make a latte with a coffee maker. You need an espresso maker... You know, small cups and raised pinkies. For the more discerning palette.

Dang dude! Can you still paly daddy horsey with your kids? I hope you get better fast.
No horsey for a while. We like to play "Mountain Daddo" where they basically tromp on me and get tickled and squiggled while I get a massage; yea that's a no go for a while. I cant even pick them up right now. I can pedal a bike, but it's hard to mount and dismount my commuter since it doesn't have a dropper. No MTB for at least a few weeks...maybe.
