I think the right thing to do is to tape that new beeotch up to keep it premium as long as possible, or to let 'er go and let the raging environment take it's course.
If I were to have to choose either Wrap and Rock, or Eff it and Hit it? I would say... Absolutely!

Man! I felt just like a politician there...

My naked and abused Hightower frame is a poster child for what happens to a non-wrapped bike. Thankfully white Gorilla tape is a close match for the color, and covers the worst scars.

And yet, I'm still getting the urge to put her back together...
Why? :cautious:2018 Santa Cruz Hightower- one of the best mid travel trail bikes with flip chip for 27+ or 29 wheels ever say the reviews... 2019... Last year's model 2018 Hightower is a great "Dad's" bike if you might still be interested in one. Haha:rolleyes:

What can that frame do that your SJ cannot?

The Stumpjumper is a much better all around bike... But the Hightower is an overbuilt tank that will win through every rock garden. Plus... I've accumulated quite a stockpile of parts.

Dad's bike? That's just wrong...

When I heard that remark in a Youtube video I got so pissed. Marketing at its finest. The nerve of these people! How many of that same model in this group? My 2018 Hightower still remains my first choice of going downhill through the rocks.
