In Other News

More than that! I grew up on a ranch so it was my grandparents and their kids and all of their offspring. Off the top of my head there were 3 sets of parents and 15 kids. Of course by the time I was born half of them were adults.
That’s awesome, what a blessing!!!
My dad had 7 kids including me and my twin, and when we all get together on Lopez Is where he lives, it’s a madhouse of kids, grandkids and G grandkids! Love it!!!!

It was awesome! Not sure how my mom did it, but none of us is a criminal, drug addict, alcoholic or *******. Well, maybe a few of the latter. We all get along well and get together annually. 7 boys, 2 girls, though tragically, we lost my youngest sister last year to cancer, as many of you know. (And thanks again for your support through that.)

Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs passes away

Today, the Angels released the following statement on the passing of Tyler Skaggs:

“It is with great sorrow that we report Tyler Skaggs passed away earlier today in Texas.

Tyler has, and always will be, an important part of the Angels Family. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Carli and his entire family during this devastating time.

There are no other details at this time, please keep Tyler’s family in your thoughts and prayers.”

Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred issued the following statement today regarding the passing of Los Angeles Angels pitcher Skaggs, who was 27:

“I am deeply saddened by today’s tragedy in Texas. All of us at Major League Baseball extend our deepest condolences to Tyler’s wife Carli, their family, their friends and all of his Angels’ teammates and colleagues. We will support the Angels’ organization through this most difficult period, and we will make a variety of resources available to Tyler’s teammates and other members of the baseball family.”

The Rangers also released a statement:

"The Texas Rangers organization wants to express its deepest sympathies to the family of Tyler Skaggs and to the entire Angels organization on this shocking loss. The thoughts and prayers of every member of the Texas Rangers and all of their fans are with the Angels organization at this difficult time."
