It really isn't worth pursuing. Especially in a city like Chicago where the court docket is overloaded with real crimes that deserve punishment.
If you are really mad keep the same energy when all the affluent who scammed their children into college are given a slap on the wrist.
Fraud is fraud. We are in the midst of an integrity crisis of epic proportions, and no one seems to care - not even the judicial system. We are doomed.

Excuse me if I don't agree that we are shifting and if we are it is an "integrity crisis".
While some may see fraud, and paint a broad brush of reverse racism over a political group.
I saw once again how news media got giddy to take a Black man and spin him from victim to villain on a grand scale to discredit realities we do face. Even if for once; it may have been justified.
But I'm not here to argue with my fellow imtb hooligans. Statistics trump opinions. So I will share one infographic and leave it to your own interpretation of our "justice system".

Happy trails!

If a segment is found guilty of a higher ratio of crimes, it seems to reason they would also be the ones with a higher ratio of exoneration s.

It doesnt matter what percentage of population they make up. It matters the amount of crime they are accused of.

Why did Blacks get exonerated 50% ? Maybe they should have just been exonerated 13% ?

An uplifting story, among many uplifting stories in the face of tragedy coming out of my home town over the last week. I've been filled with a lot of home town pride (even more than usual) as Waynesville, NC serves as an example to the world. Riley Howell, the hero in the UNCC shooting last week was the son of people I was loosely acquainted with growing up, and his uncle Matt-Sale (featured in this link) was a grade school friend before transferring to a school for the deaf and blind.

You should be proud. So tragic yet so inspiring at the same time. Makes me think of Emerson’s famous quote
“To know even one life has breathed easier, because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.”

Looks like DJI the drone and camera manufacture has produced a GoPro competitor, The Osmo Action. https://www.dji.com/osmo-action

I've been eyeing the Gopro Hero 7 for a while now since you basically don't need a gimbal due to it's internal image stabilization. The Osmo Action also has that feature as well. External mic usage is much more simple with the Action too via a USB C to stereo jack vs the stupid gopro dongle that costs $50 and is super bulky. Very tempted to say the least!
