Duuude, people came from BFE to ride in your hood on a trail that most of them weren’t really excited to hit. Instead of complaining about the distance it took to get to and from the ride they made a great time out of it and some respect for your local dirt was earned.

For someone who is stress free you sure seem pretty wound up in your own seclusion.

I like ya lots, Mark.. but it’d be super cool if you joined a ride on trails outside of your bubble. If I get a hall pass for this I will be happy to pick you up and drive carpool to the cheese.

But I do intend to head out there to ride with youse guys. :thumbsup::cool:

Ok, I wouldn’t even think of making that trip on our anniversary so gotcha. My offer stands to carpool with you on a group ride though, I think we are fairly close in distance. Although, you did say if it weren’t in BFE you’d be all over it. It being the ride, at least that’s how I read it. :whistling:;)

My wife’s X5th birthday is the Sunday before so depending if we celebrate it next weekend or the weekend of this ride is what I am waiting to hear back on.

Tomorrow is my daughter’s 2nd and exactly a month after is my son’s fourth. Add in the holidays and the last quarter of the year is pretty busy for me, and expensive.

Bumping this up to start a roll call. Extended weather forecast looks nice, if a little warm (high of 82). Most of the climbing would be earlier, and there's typically a decent breeze up high, so it should be right pleasant. I'll update this list as folks respond. All you"maybes", holla back. This would prolly be the perfect warmup ride for the rescheduled Hellacious Ride - just sayin'.

You'll never get more than a maybe out of me until I start driving north. And even then, who knows if I'll actually get there?

That said, I intend to attend. Somebody's gotta demonstrate just how slow a bicycle can go up a hill without tipping over!

I have stitches from my dermatologist taking a 9mm bullet sized chunk out of me. I get my stitches out on Thursday but she may be taking a few more biopsies. Depending on my current wound and additional cuts will determine me making it.

If the stitches wound heals fine (so far so good) then the little biopsy cuts shouldn’t be an issue.

PSA: Wear sunscreen, put sunscreen on your kids. :coffee:
