It's been raining all day on and off in RSM, and I see Motorway has around .25 inches so far... I'm leaning towards cancelling. I may give it a go tomorrow if anyone's interested. I need some miles.

1.65 inches at upper Silverado, and 1.42 inches at Motorway since last night! Nice... Not so nice for the planned ride, but great for the mountain.

The weather forecast kinda missed the biggest rain storm we have had year-to-date! You should have seen the drive home from LAX last night

The BonsaiNut Advanced Precipitation Measurement System (aka my pool) suggests we got about 2" accumulation... so far.

They won't say it, but this may just turn out to be a normal winter.

Upper Silverado seems to be the winner in the mountains at 1.73, followed by upper Harding and Motorway. A little less at the peak...

What's interesting to note is how much more rain the upper canyons / mountains got...

Three day totals (real time):

Upper Silverado Canyon: 2.68"
Upper Harding Canyon: 2.36"
Santiago Peak: 1.85"
Silverado Motorway: 2.24"
El Cariso Guard Station: 2.95"

Lower Silverado Canyon: 1.10"
Modjeska Canyon: 1.10"

Yeah that seems to be working again, it was messed up for a while.
There used to be a Modjeska / Santiago Creek Web Cam that was cool

Since i posted last, it has been raining like mad at my house for the last hour. We got at least another .25". I had to go out and clear the surface drains in my yard because they were getting clogged with leaves and debris.
