Adventure at oaks.. rode it all.. except for waterfall... wind was epic..at chutes u had to lean but the gusts would still push u ... a helio landed on top of chutes... dude broken clavicle...oh the resources we throw around...
I wo der if wind contributed to injury...
Just a great day at oaks

Quickie 1.5 times through ChLoop this afternoon. I wanted to see how the new handlebar felt and how grippy the new shoes are.

The handlebar transformed the ride into bliss. So much better!

The shoes are a trip. They are so soft and gummy that they stick to our hardwood floor at home and squeak quite loud when I walk on it with them. I can see that wearing them for anything but riding is a no-no. The soles would wear out in a week. Yes, they grip better on the pinned pedals, too.

Quick early 1.5 hrs in Murrieta then back for late breakfast w the kids.

Later in the afternoon...about 40min of tow bike and MacRide w one of my 8s and the 6 in the sand on my fatbike, then another 30 with the other 8 on the tow following the first 8 on her own bike (not in the sand)...she’s almost ready for trails herself :ninja:

I rode Idyllwild for the first time today with @mtbMike and @pdqmach26 and 7 other good riders. The forecast showed cold weather and wind, but when we got there the wind stopped and the weather warmed up nicely. It was a perfect riding day. Lot’s of fun singletrack is to be had there. Definitely want to get back up there and explore some more. Sad to see all of the burn areas. A few pics from the day.

Cheseboro today. Added Dead Cow to the route. The rains have roughed the area up a bit so the tech sections are a little more techy now which equates to mo bettah.

Crossed paths with Ed and Jen ( @UPSed ) twice. Nice to see Jen back in the saddle next day after a spill.

Miles of smiles! :D

And Sharky's afterward. :inlove:
