I have eaten chicken nuggets at Costco pursuant to their free sample marketing schema.

That's the good and the bad with Toyota. They hold their value. We ended up getting a new Tundra because the ones 2-3 years old were just as much.

Yep. As with anything, if you look long enough you'll eventually find something. My '08 had 21k miles when I bought it a couple years ago @ bluebook with spendy extras.

I don't care what it takes to get reliability. Once you've owned an unreliable vehicle, you realize the worth. All good now – 100% Toyota.

Until I can live the van life ... 1Up USA for the SUV. For the hatchback sedan, take the front wheel off and throw it in the back (road bike) or both wheels off (MTB). Not too long ago, I acquired another option ... Sea Sucker. Works amazingly well. Ive done 400 miles at mostly 80mph with no issues. Since the back of the car slopes, I can get the bike pretty low so wind resistance and the possibility of low overhangs is minimized. Downside is lack of security, not only for the bike, but for the Sea Sucker itself. Can't leave it unattended, with bike or without. Another downside is, since it's mounted to the roof and hatchback window, I can't open the hatchback with the bike on it.

One thing I think is really cool about it, although I haven't done it yet, is that you can put it in a suitcase if your'e flying somewhere where you're going to rent a bike. You don't have to pay the extra money to rent an SUV.

I still need to get a hitch receiver for the car, though.

My method for cost effective bike transportation is that you can check pricing on... Blah blah blah.

I’m a douchebag spammer.

My method for cost effective bike transportation is that you can check pricing on all the shipping service provider. I generally follow this trend. I placed my order on citizenshipper to get shipping charges quotes within few minutes i got several bids for my shipment then i can easily chose best among them,

Similarly , you can get quotes of best pricing of USPS, UPS, Bikeflight etc.

Now you can compare all of these pricing to get best pricing.

Thats how you can get cost effective options .

These all are best in shipping bike inside states.

Best regards

@Mikie @Faust29 .....clean up on aisle 7......someone spilled a can of spam and crap.
