How did you select your bike?

That’s reasonable. But someone just dropped in after three years away and called everyone here immoral. Intolerance being the only modern immorality. I just thought I’d let him know that I noticed the insult.

I didn't read any insult..... probably because I know most people think everything on the net sounds mean, its typically not meant to be, so I always look at it as a positive interaction unless extraordinarily obvious to the contrary.

So, uh, how did you select your bike?
Who me?
I let some ponzi schemer on the interwebs fill my head with all the glory of a bike I'd never seen or ridden. As any good ponzi accomplishes I ended up sending thousands of dollars to unknown people in another state with the hopes it turns into riches many times over.
Monetarily I never did get the huge returns, but in fun, laughs, giggles, sweat, tears, cursing and sore muscles I was paid in immeasurable sums.

Haha, perfect!

To me the best bike is the one you don't know is there.

I rode yesterday for about an hour and a half with a friend, and though I wasn't on a technical trail, and wasn't pushing myself physically, I can honestly say that I don't recall being on a bike. I didn't think about it, I wasn't aware of it, I just rode as easily as if I was walking down the street.
