This was years ago. I remember riding there ( my home trail at the time) and thinking, Damn it smells lot pot plants here...
A month later I found out why.
We used to smell a patch growing up off of Ken Burton trail. Never found it. Trailworkers found the remains of the camp, the pvc pipes for irrigation, and assorted trash right near the memorial site.
Demand is still so high that people are willing to take the risk of illegal grows.
Nowadays you can just go to the shop, have it delivered, or call your ICC.
