Grip Recommendations

ODI Rogues work for me so I stopped trying others. No issues with the outside lock/clamp, my brake levers and shifter are positioned so that when I am riding my hands are in the center of my grips. Only time I am gripping the outsides is while climbing and the clamp isn't noticeable.

I think my swollen jointed sausage fingers need a thicker grip, the Ruffians on my HT feel super thin.

If you never lay it down, silicone grips are great! :(

@Mikie, I don't think a grip will demonstrably alter wrist position, but a finned/sculpted grip can help with comfort. Backsweep is whatcha need for wrists. I'm a little baffled there are so few industry options. 17° feels pretty good, but I don't know of a CF option, so I use a Salsa Bend Bar for my longest rides. A regular mountain bike bar doesn't work well for the long haul, hence the birth of Jones Bars et al. Sorry for the drift! :)

I'm liking the "ergo" type grips. I've been using these ESI Fit CR for about a year now and like them quite a bit. It took a few rides to get used to them though. I have some Ergon GE1 on another bike. I grip the ends of the bar...since these grips have no flanges or lock on rings at the ends...it lets me use all the bar.
