Am I missing any? Have I exposed another of my weaknesses?
Exposure and I don't get along. I can ride trails that are narrow, rocky. rutted, but put that trail next to a cliff, and I am out. I am a "what if" person, and I suffer from Vertigo, so those exposed trails are not on my list of "to do" trails.
I saw this many yrs ago as a newbie, it had me wobbly for a bit.
So that's why your eyes are on the side of your head. Now I understand.I actually laughed out loud. Well done.
And unlike my friend @Redman, I have peripheral vision. And it warns me of danger. Can't help it.
To some degree, but it's always active. Highly beneficial in sports performance in most contexts. Maybe not so much in alerting me to danger I wish to ignore. No manual focus mode?
^^This is my definition of exposure tooFor me.....exposure is about don't fall off the side of the trail. Could be 25'...could be 300'...doesn't matter.
Weather/elements is not exposure
There once was a man from Nannnnnn tuuuuuuccckkketttt!!!If, in the event I crash, I can recite my favorite limerick before I stop falling/tumbling, that's exposure.
