I am picking the awareness bell as the front runner in my book - if you ride crowded SoCal multiuse, multi direction trails.
And not the thumb actuated bell - that relies on you seeing the person first. We’re talking the constant tinkling bell (that you can silence) that hikers hear before they see you. Not only are the hikers comfortably clear when you get to them, but they are happy as well! None of that “oh Sh!t” panic scrambling.
it’s a stretch to say it improves your riding, but wow does it improve the experience!
