August 10th 2019 Big Bear Skyline Club Ride

The adventure continues up here on the mountain. The owner of the place where I am staying has been here rebuilding the deck. I did some electrical work for him for the deck lights to earn my keep.

We were standing out in the driveway looking at all the bats. There is an insane amount of them here this Summer. He had the front door propped open and one had flown into the cabin but we had not realized it until I went into the bathroom to take a shower and theres a freakin' bat flying around in there!!! So I shut the bathroom door to contain it and rigged up two large fishnets to two broom sticks. The bat was hanging from the wood work in the bathroom when I went back in. Luckily it did not move when I approached with the nets so I covered it. It flew into the net and then I slipped the other net over it to seal the bat between two nets. I took it outside and set it free.
