2,000 Mile Club!

That may be doable:thumbsup:
I’m not too concerned really, it’s all about being out there and having fun:)

Right... See I work it both ways

Look how much fun I had when I hit my number.

Orrrrr

I was having so much fun I didn't even think about the numbers.

The numbers really never dictate how I feel about the year.

There was a time many years ago that those numbers meant a lot more... But not anymore that's for sure.

80 rides this year so far. About 2200' per ride and 15 miles per ride. Conservatively 176,000' and 1200 miles so far. Sounds good to me! That's 80 more rides than most people get!

That's also about 30 more rides than last year, but I surfed and skied/snowboarded a lot in 2019 and 2018.

1,257/177,379 so far. Guessing I'll end up a little over 1,300 and hopefully close to 185K when it's all said and done. I remember when a similar thread happened last year I was at a little under 800, and off the bike with the knee injury. I predicted about the same amount for this year given the time I knew I'd be off the bike. Given that my first ride was not until 3/22 I'm fairly content with those numbers. Next year will shoot for 2k/250K.

I’ll be lucky to log 800 miles before the end of the month. But if I consider all the neighborhood bike riding with my kids I’m well above that mark and the stoke per mile when riding with them is tenfold.
I’m at 838.3 as of today. I second your neighborhood jaunts regarding mileage and stoke watching the meegies perform their first Superman OTB or master the night ride, but dammit, I still wanna rail against the earth and kick up her dust!

With COVID causing furloughs and thus more riding time, I just passed 2,000 miles (2,179) and 244,000' elevation. All of which are new milestones for me. Less $$$ but more riding = :):):) sort of.

I'm done. I refuse to ride my bike again this year. Maybe I'll pick it up again next year. :p

The numbers say I'm down 1000 miles, down about 120,000 feet, and down approximately 50 rides. I don't feel down, though... Right up to the end of the year, I'm still discovering incredible new dirt. I'm thankful for that.

Impressive Max numbers. That must have been one well executed ride.

I failed to make 1,500 miles. Short by 21.3 ... although I did get ripped off on Strava for at least one ride. Oh well, if it is not on Strava, it never happened. :Roflmao

I slacked off in December. By slacked off I mean "drank a crap ton of beer." I shall start 2021 off strong.

I had a really tough year... moving, and lack of a bike in North Carolina until end of June. NC is seeing it's wettest year on record - rainfall 20" above normal. Trails were only open 7 days in the entire month of December. I will finish the year at 42% of last year :(

However my % increase for 2021 is already looking good! :)
