12 & 6 Hrs of Temecula Nov. 7th

The temperature changes during the 24 hrs at Vail Lake where mind blowing (30-80 deg).

I got there @7:45 on Saturday, and the guys who spent the night in tents looked like they just got off the mountain in mammoth during a mid February storm.
As the sun rose over the mountain the temp continue to climb, and during my second lap I was hot (around 1:30pm).
My third lap was right before sunset (started @4:15), and at the end of it I was a little cold.
My last lap stated @ 7:10, and I was wearing my under shirt, knee warmers, arm warmers, and my toes where freezing.
The temp continue to drop throughout the night, and at first light my car temp gauge was @ 30 deg.

One more note.... being the slowest rider on a team kind a sucks!
Finished 20 minutes of the podium is not great either.
Knowing that a faster rider could have pushed the team over the top....really blows!

Other observations:
I saw one iMTB Jersey.
Plenty of single track - fun course during the day, challenging under the lights.
Some solo riders are super fast, some are not.
More female riders then I expected.
Tacos and beer at the end tasted awesome.

I was the sole IMTB jersey, I believe... You should have said something. I'm slow, but I'm not too grouchy usually... I still remember hearing Fijirob introduce himself as he passed me in the last race. That was kinda cool...
