I DIDN'T Ride My Bike Today, Cuzz....

NOOOO! Stop that!
I had my right menescuss trimmed due to a tear. An easy outpatient arthroscopic procedure on crutches for maybe a day and a half?
Depending on where the tear is located in the meniscus, removing portions of it, increase the odds of developing arthritis significantly… If it’s a tear more toward the central portion of the meniscus, this is less of an issue, potentially, especially if a small amount is trimmed, and the bulk of the meniscus remains… I would still look into minimally invasive options first like regenexx.com.

Chest is still a mess, two weeks in :(

But I did feel well enough to rotate tires... this one has plenty of life left!

After rotating the racing slicks, I took some time to replace the rear bumper cover that Firstborn decided to remove after getting too fast and too furious. Found a pretty good one at the wrecker and a relatively easy swap:

That's after swapping out seats yesterday:

You’re pretty rambunctious for a two week in sicko!

I intended to go ride today. Really, I did. The weather forecast noted that the Santa Banana winds would be east of the 5.

They were, as usual, either lying or on drugs. Even the FLoop is overly windy, almost on par with the last time I did the Ride for Rwanda.

So I began the RD swap on the Synapse.

I didn't ride a bike today because I went to a hockey game.
As a member of a group of Ducks season ticket holders since the inaugural season; this was one of my worst experiences.
Now, I didn't sit in my awesome season tickets because it wasn't my turn.
I bought a nosebleed level seat for tonight because I actually wanted to get the Ducks/Angels jersey giveaway.
Turns out they only had 5000 for the game. It was a sellout at 17,364 or something like that.
Even getting there early at 5:45 for a 7 game; I got shutout. All gone, no jersey for me.
Then, the 400 level sucks. It's been since the last time the Ducks were in the playoffs since I've been up there
There are very few table type areas to take a break and maybe eat it drink up on that level
Also, the large push to make everyone order from a tablet or online at the concession stands is a total clusterfuck.
Then, the Ducks lost in OT.

Can't blame this on the Ducks, but part of my walk to the train station involved 40+ mph headwinds. Sucks to walk into that.

Then, getting off the train and driving home the power was out in most places; including the traffic lights.

Watch out and be safe

Hey, I'll thank the one point.

Ah the price you have to pay for fandom... I'm sure all of the players appreciated your efforts to be there.
