I DIDN'T Ride My Bike Today, Cuzz....

Had a cold last week, and it left behind a nasty cough. Keeping me up all night and just wearing me out. Got a phone appt at four in the morning and ended up getting some Z Pak but Dr. said to wait a couple days to see if it goes away or turns into full blown bronchitis.
So I basically hung out all day and obsessed on "the right bike" and puttered about.
Changed the grips on one bike, so that was fun!
But it was going to be a busy weekend changing oil on two cars, going to Santa Ana for a book thing, moving stuff from storage, going for a bike ride even! Here I am, typing stuff on a computer...

Spent time with my wife and daughter this morning. Then, when they disappeared to do their things, I took my car for a deep cleaning, since I managed to drive through some paint or something that wouldn't come off with a regular car wash. After that, I picked up said daughter and went to a school pley. And now I'm typing stuff.

Just watching the dogs watching me. Waiting..... No one up north seems to want to keep me updated. Finally, I got the news - she's a pushing and grandbaby #1 was on his way. 13 hours later, young Haiden entered this world. I was on the phone until 3 handling the news release to both sides of the family.

Today I have no excuse. Time to pedal.

Congrats! Welcome to this world with all its splendor, Haiden!

Limped back home from Palm Desert.

Would rather be riding a bike.

Much as I love my beemer it's left me stranded. AAA card for the win! 82 mile flat bed tow and $0 out of pocket.

I had broke down just a few miles from my destination in BB. Drove my Bro in laws 15 y.o. pos truck home from there. He loved that...and I'll hear about it for years. Lol.

(It always surprises me that some people keep their vehicle interiors just nasty dirty :gag:)

Yeah, we have the 100 mile tow option for these very special vehicles...

This is going to cut into my bike upgrade $$$!

Red Rocks I believe.

That place is awesome. I stopped in there in October, because I had forgotten my miniature star drive that came with the Garmin HRM. The battery had died. He had both the driver and the battery, changed it out for me. I paid $1.62. Tried to pay him more, but refused.

I'll be patronizing that shop every time I go to or through St George.

Maybe this should have gone in the Bike Shop Review thread....
