How about this boys and girls? If you can't make the AARP ride on Sunday after bingo, then join me and others(?) to ride in the same area on Saturday. Due to the fact that HIllbillies can't/won't wake up at the proper hour of dawn, we can start this at 10am. 
I propose to park by the 'Y" in the road on Big Rock Cyn Rd near Valyermo, past the Punchbowl. From there it is a wonderful, leisurely, climb up the steep and dusty road to Vincent Gap. In case you didn't get enough climbing, we will then climb up and hit the Jackson Lake trail and loop around the lake. Then we will follow the trail back to Vincent Gap and drop down the Manzanita trail towards the Punchbowl. Just before the heinous switchbacks, we drop back down the fireroad back to the cars. There are options for more mileage if you need more.
