Traveling, whether for work or pleasure, you're in a new environment, time isn't necessarily on your side and your thrown off schedule. What do you do to stay in riding shape. I'm on the road 50% of the time and this is my hotel work out. Share what you do on the road to try and stay or get in to shape.

20 Body Weight Squats
15 Incline Push Ups
25 Overhead Squats
20 Push Ups
10 Inverted Rows (using the desk in your hotel)
15 Reverse Crunches
25 Jumping Squats
20 Decline Push ups (feet up on bed or desk chair)

I started running for this very reason. Running shoes are a lot easier to pack than a bike. I also belong to a gym that has locations throughout the country that I can use, although not enough that they're everywhere I travel. And, of course, often time to get there is an issue. I really should have a hotel room workout routine like this. I certainly could do core work, squats and pushups every morning when I'm traveling. I would add some lunges or Bulgarian split squats, both of which are good exercises for MTBers.

That said, if I can take a bike or rent one and I'm going someplace it's worthwhile, I've been known to "accidentally" spend more time in a location than necessary for the work at hand...

Thx for the in put. I will throw some lunges in to the mix.
Lol this week I'm accidentally staying an extra night in Phoenix and doing some riding before I head home.
